Growing up, my family was a large supporter of the unions.
My step-father played quite a role in the start-up of unions here in Michigan.
I learned early on the importance of having a union to support employees.
Since Michigan is an “at-will” state, jobs can be lost at anytime at the employer’s discretion.
A union, however, protects employees from losing their jobs senselessly. 
I believe that it is important that everyone have the right to such support in their place of employment.
That is why, if I am elected Township Supervisor, I will do my best to support our unions so that they can do their best to support employees.
I am also proud to support our local businesses, our Police and Fire, our Parks and Recreation, our Senior Community and our Historical Society.
